Answers to frequently asked questions

How far are the facilities from the historic centre and the sea on foot? Are there also buses to reach them?

Aqua Comfort Rooms is located 600 metres from Piazza Garibaldi and a 15-minute walk from the Bastion of Saint Remy.
Lumiere Rooms is 750 metres from Piazza Garibaldi. Piazza Garibaldi is a recently renovated square and the two shopping streets start from here.

Bissenti Rooms is 950 metres from Piazza Garibaldi.
As for the beach, the closest is Il Poetto; the 3p bus leaves from in front of Lumiere Rooms and goes straight to Poetto in 10 minutes.
The other beaches are easily accessible by the ARST bus company, the nearest bus stop being a 3-minute walk from the facilities.
Not all guests use cars and easily get around Villasimius, Chia, Costa Rei by transport.
Approdo Rooms is located in the centre, just a stone’s throw from Piazza yenne.

Is the parking on the street or private?

Bissenti Rooms provides its guests with a private car park, a shared car park, which we leave at the disposal of our guests free of charge. parking subject to availability.
Lumiere Rooms and Aqua Comfort Rooms do not have private parking, you park on the street, where there are free and paid parking spaces (paid only from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.).
A few steps from our facility there are two pay car parks: the multi-storey car park in Via Manzoni (Parking rates in the Manzoni Multi-storey:
Daytime hourly parking in the time slot from 08:00 to 21:00 €0.60 per area or fraction;
parking during the night from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. at a flat rate of €4.00) and the Porta Nuova car park also here €5 for 24 hours.

Do you also provide breakfast?

We do not provide a breakfast service, but we do give our guests a discount voucher for an excellent breakfast at our partner bakery “La dolce vita”, a short walk from both buildings.

Are there restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies nearby? Do you have any active agreements?

Yes, there are excellent restaurants nearby and two pharmacies, one near Bissenti and one just a stone’s throw from Lumiere Rooms and Aqua Comfort.
Just a stone’s throw away from the facilities is the San Benedetto market, and two supermarkets.

We have active agreements with two pastry shops that are very popular with our guests and with three renowned restaurants in town.

Are there electric car charging stations nearby?

You will find recharging stations in Via Roma, near the Approdo Rooms and near the Lumiere Rooms, Bissenti Rooms and Aqua Comfort.

What are the check-in and check-out times? Is it possible to stay in the room until the afternoon?

At the Bissenti Rooms check-in starts at 14:30 and check-out by 9:30/10:00.
Check-in at Lumiere Rooms starts at 15:00 and check-out by 10:00.
At the Approdo Rooms check-in starts at 3.30 p.m. and check-out is by 10 a.m.
Aqua comfort check-in at 3.00 p.m. and check-out at 10.00 a.m.
Check-in times vary depending on availability, so if the guest asks us for an early check-in and the room is ready we will gladly accommodate the request, almost always free of charge!
As for late check-out: this is subject to availability. It costs between €10 and €25.

Do you accept animals?

We love animals, but unfortunately we have had unpleasant experiences with guests with animals in tow, so we have chosen to no longer meet this requirement.

Does each room have a private bathroom?

Yes, each room has a private bathroom.
Bissenti Rooms has one room with an external, private bathroom for exclusive use, whereas at Lumiere Rooms and at Aqua Comfort Rooms, all rooms have a private bathroom inside the room.
At Approdo Rooms all rooms have a bathroom inside the room while one room has two bathrooms: one inside the room and one outside for exclusive use.

Is there a coffee machine in the room?

Yes, there is a coffee machine and beverage warmer with coffee pods and tea in all rooms.
At Approdo Rooms there is a coffee machine, beverage warmer and microwave oven in the common area.

Bookings and payments

What payment methods are accepted?

For all bookings, we accept payments by bank transfer and credit/debit card via a secure payment link that we will send directly by email or messaging service.

Are there any additional costs to pay?

The only additional cost is the tourist tax, which is charged by the local council and must be paid at the hotel or by bank transfer.
You may be exempt.

Will I be charged at the time of booking?

No, there is no immediate charge at the time of booking.
The charge and/or payment request is made 5 days before the arrival date, i.e. at the end of the free cancellation period.

What are the cancellation policies?

Free cancellation up to 12 days before the check-in date.
The penalty is 50% of the total amount for cancellations made between 11 and 5 days before check-in.
The penalty is 100% for cancellations made within 5 days of check-in.

Can I modify or update a booking I have already made?

Certainly, please contact us directly to make changes to your booking.

Apartment services and amenities

Are the flats and rooms equipped with bed linen and towels?

Yes, all our rooms and apartments are equipped with towels and bed linen, ready upon arrival, to ensure maximum comfort during your stay.

Is cleaning provided during the stay?

Yes. Cleaning is provided for stays longer than 3 nights.
Our facility is environmentally friendly:
Towels, included in the room price, are replaced after three nights.
Bed linen is changed halfway through your stay for stays longer than 3 nights.
This allows us to reduce waste and have a lower impact on the environment, while maintaining high standards of comfort and cleanliness.
Cleaning is carried out, when scheduled, between 10:00 and 15:00.

Is it possible to request an extra cleaning service?

Absolutely!

What appliances can I find at Eja Domus?

Oven, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave oven.

Are cleaning products available from Eja Domus?

Yes, you will find everything you need to clean the flat.

Is tap water safe to drink?

Yes, it is.

Do the rooms have air conditioning and heating?

Yes, all rooms have air conditioning and heating.

Is smoking permitted in the apartment or outdoor areas?

No, smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms and leaning out of windows to smoke, in compliance with hotel and safety regulations.

If you are a smoker, we invite you to request a room with a balcony when booking, so that you can smoke exclusively outside and in permitted areas.

Mobility and parking

Is parking available?

Bissenti Rooms offers its guests private parking, a shared dirt car park that we make available to guests completely free of charge.
Parking is subject to availability.
Lumiere Rooms and Aqua Comfort Rooms do not have private parking, but you can park on the street, where there are free and paid parking spaces (paid parking is only from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.).
A short walk from our property are two paid car parks: the multi-storey car park in Via Manzoni (parking rates in the Manzoni multi-storey car park:

Do you offer a shuttle service to or from the station or airport?

We offer an exclusive chauffeur service to make your stay even more comfortable.
This service is available for guests departing from and arriving at the airport.
Route: To/From the Airport Transfer to our facility or from the airport to your room.
Cost of service: €30 per daytime journey (up to 3 guests) €35 per night-time journey.
Ask us for group prices, we will be happy to take care of your transfer.
